Title : Explain the steps in the educational system in Korea

  We have four steps in the educational system which are making roublesome in our country.

The first step is the education in elementary school for children from roughly 8 years old to 13 years old. This education is compulsory one for all of national people who lives in Korea. It requires that everyone learn the basic knowledge as human being.

The second is the education in middle school for boys and girls from roughly 14 years old to 16 years old. This one is also compulsory for all people. It requires to learn a little broader and deeper knowledge for sculpturing his and her life in society.

Next, high school education is provided to the youths from after 17 year of age for 3 years. This education procedure is not mandatary for all people. Severely, however, it teaches much broader and deeper knowledge and technique for their survival in this aggressive world.

The final is college and/or university education procedure for the youths who finished compulsory and high school procedure. This step includes undergraduate for a bachelor and graduate course for master of degree and doctoral grade.

  Unfortunately, however, we have some tragedy here.

First of all, 87% of youths who finished high school education go to college and/or university and they almost graduate from the courses. So, we have so many colleges and universities for digesting too many students. It means "educational inflation" which never help our social future. Therefore, our education system makes extremely uneven scholarship ability and big number of absolutely disabled and tremendously inflated scholarship. We have been making the unemployed youths and vomiting them to our narrow and small society every year.

  Conclusively, in order to overcome this troublesome and construct the stable society, we should take the most effective treatment and revolutional reformation in our educational system within very short term, as soon as possible. ☺
